Information about our Education workshop
The staff and volunteers at Scottish Muslim Funeral Services holdeducation workshops for men, women and young adults at local mosques throughout Scotland.
The purpose for this is to educate the Muslim ummah of what to do in the event of a loved one passing away at home or a hospital, how to perform the ghusal (final bath) and applying the kafan (shroud). The ghusal and kafan application is a practical exercise.
Each class is attended by the Imam of that particular mosque, so as to answer any religion based questions.
If you feel you would like to take part in the education workshop, please contact your local Imam or committee. Arrangements will thereafter be made to hold a class there.
