About Our Education Workshops
The staff and volunteers at Scottish Muslim Funeral Services hold education workshops for men, women and young adults at local mosques throughout Scotland.
The purpose is to educate the Muslim ummah about what to do when a loved one passes away at home or in hospital, how to perform the ghusal (final bath), and how to apply the kafan (shroud). The ghusal and kafan application is a practical exercise.
Each class is attended by the Imam of that particular mosque, who can answer any religious questions.
If you would like to take part in an education workshop, please contact your local Imam or committee. Arrangements will then be made to hold a class there.
